My Favorite Season

The Autumn Season is my favorite! I like how it gets cooler (but not too cold yet), which means hot cocoa and apple cider; warm, snuggly sweaters and blankets...and more cuddling in general. I love all of the colors of the changing trees (who doesn't?!)...but especially being out here in Ohio - the colors are amazing! I love that it's the season for pumpking patches and apple picking...there is just something about Autumn that gives me "warm fuzzies."

I think this year I've really loved seeing it all through Gabriel's eyes. We've spent many a day in the yard looking at leaves, collecting leaves, talking about the colors and the smells and the textures and the sounds of leaves, making art projects with leaves...and jumping in leaves. The pumpkin patch was so thrilling to him...and he loved watching all of the other kids. But, probably the biggest bonus is that Gabriel loves to cuddle, and can now appreciate the chilling sensation of the cold. As soon as we get out our big, soft, "family cuddle blanket" he'll run over and say, "brrrr...cold, mama...Gabriel cuddle."

We hope you are enjoying the Autumn season as much as we are!
