‘Tis the season to remember the life and birth of Jesus Christ, which tends to prick our heart in remembrance of His cause, and that we are all invited to love and serve those around us as he did:
“Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.” (Matthew 25:40)We are so grateful for a loving Heavenly Father who has a plan for us. His plan gives us purpose and direction during our time on this earth, and if we forget that or get a little lost we are so grateful to know that we have the gift of the Atonement and the example of Jesus Christ to follow and find our way back. We are so richly blessed in all the areas of our life, and have made it a family goal to share those blessings, whether it be spiritually, temporally or by giving of our time and talents to all those around us.
I hope we can remember all year round that we are surrounded by those in need of our attention, our encouragement, our support, our comfort, our kindness—be they family members, friends, acquaintances, or strangers. I hope we can all strive to give a little more and judge a little less and look to our Savior as the ultimate example of love and sacrifice.
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas!
The Tora Family
