Saturday the Easter Bunny came and hid the eggs while Gabriel was at the park playing. He came home to an Easter bucket full of goodies, which was followed by a frenzied egg hunt. My camera could barely keep up.

Sunday he put on his new Easter suit and we went to church. That afternoon we told the story (with Gabriel's help) of how Christ atoned for our sins and was nailed to the cross and died. How they placed his body in a tomb while his spirit was in heaven organizing the Spirit world. Then three days later his sprit and his body were joined again and he appeared to his apostles and the Nephites. Later that evening we had an Easter dinner of roasted lamb, mashed potatoes, asparagus, chilled-curried rice salad and rolls. It was a really nice Easter, and I'm so grateful we can be perfected through Christ and rise and live again with our Heavenly Father.
