Gabriel has been sick with the stomach flu. He's finally keeping down fluids, which means he gets to drink Gatorade in his special cup with a straw.
Gabriel: Slllllluuuuuuuurrrrrppppppp
Patrick: Gabriel, please don't
Gabriel: Slllluuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrppppppppp
Patrick: Gabriel, that's enough
Gabriel: Sllluuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrpppppp
Patrick: If you don't stop I'm going to take away your cup
Gabriel: (dirty look) Sluuuuuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrpppppppppppppp
Patrick: takes the cup away
Gabriel: folds his arms with a heavy sigh and a look that could kill. Then suddenly runs upstairs. (we thought he was going to pout on the stairs)
*******1 minute later********
Gabriel: comes running into the living room with his inflatable pirate sword and a SERIOUS look of vengeance and whacks Patrick with it.
Patrick: (A little shocked) Why did you do that?
Gabriel: Because you took my cup away (he says with bug-eyes and hands on his hips)
Ursala: (trying to hold back my laughs, because it was SOOO funny. But his emotions were pretty serious and we needed to teach him that it was not an appropriate response...especially to his Daddy).
Patrick went on to explain that it was not okay to hit people when we are angry (it was a little more detailed than that). Obviously Gabriel is starting to feel better. That's right, Gabriel...get it all out of your system now so that you are a "perfect" agreeable teenager. *sigh*

oh my gosh, that cute kid, I couldn't help but laugh while reading this (and I could totally picture it going on in my head) that would be SWEET if he is getting it all out now, but I am sure he will be a perfect angel anyways :)
