Christmas with all of the family hasn't happened in several years, but it's just like I remember it:
Dad gifts on Christmas Eve (Dad always leaves a little something under our pillow before bed):
| BB Gun ("you'll shoot your eye out) |
| CARS! |
Cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve:
Waking up WAY too early to spy on what Santa left:
The MAD rush downstairs to check out the stockings:
And then passing out all the gifts and taking turns opening each one (a hard one for younger ones to wait their turn):
| Surrounded by gifts (one word: SPOILED) |
| YAY-Cars Slippers! |
| Gotta love that Christmas morning bedhead! |
| George - happy about his Wall Street Journal subscription |
| Can't go wrong with homemade gifts for Great Grandma |
| A new blanket that Grandma made special for Jory! |
| It's anything Halo/Video Games for Julian |
| A new handmixer for the chef! |
| Can't go wrong with money! |
| Uncle Greg (still half asleep)! |
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Then it was time to get ready for church - which didn't start until 11am, so that allowed us plenty of time to open gifts, have breakfast and get ready to go. Of course we had to take a few pictures of everybody all dressed up:
| All the boys! |
| Mommy & Gabriel |
| Three Generations: Mom, Me and Grandma |
| US |
| With my VERY special Grandmother. |
After church we all came home and feasted on a yummy Christmas dinner of Prime Rib, Cheesy Potatoes, Green Beans, Jello Salad, Rolls and Red Velvet Cake! We all went to bed with full belly's and happy hearts!
