While we were visiting home for the holidays we were able to be a part of Jory's baptism. He had requested that Uncle Pat baptize him, and then asked if I would speak on the Holy Ghost. My mom wrote a song for him - she has written songs for all of our baptisms, and all of the grandkids baptisms, and then he also asked their home teacher, Brother Walker to speak on Baptism, Papa did the confirmation and the Bishop wrapped things up with some special final remarks. We are so glad that we were able to be there and participate in his special day!

| Cheese balls from the bishop |
Bishop Schofield gave a little talk about how when we eat cheeseballs the cheese gets all over our fingers, and even if we try to lick it off it doesn't fully remove the cheese stains-we must fully wash our hands to remove the stains. He compared this to how repentence works in our lives...to really wash the stains of sin we have to fully repent and renew our covenants each Sunday when we partake of the Sacrament. I thought it was a cute anaology...especially for this cheese ball lover!
