Oh the Fun Things that Happen at Papa and Grandma's House

We spent a couple of weeks at my parent's house, and it was fun to be "home" again and spend time with family. But, most of all it was fun to see Gabriel with all of his cousins and aunty and uncle and papa and grandma and great grandparents. He hasn't really had that experience as we moved to Ohio when he was only two, and we have absolutely no family out here. I know he enjoyed all the fun and the attention.

One of the first things he did was to break out the doughnuts...Grandma knew EXACTLY what goodies to have on hand for him (Grandma's are good at that):

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Then it was time to make cookies to leave for Santa on Christmas Eve:
Jory-rolling out the cookie dough

Of course Gabriel HAS to have a turn rolling...

Cutting out all the cookies

All baked and being frosted

What's frosting cookies without getting some of it on your face!

EXTRA sprinkles!

Even Grandma got in on the action!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
THEN it was on to our traditional Christmas Light tour around the city. Only, when we went to get into the car there was a surprise ride waiting for us...a LIMO!  We rode the limo to dinner...the only Indian restaurant in Billings, but it was REALLY yummy! Then the limo took us around the city to look at all of the great Christmas lights! It was so much fun, and Gabriel could hardly contain himself - being able to ride in a LIMO!

"Ready to Roll"...in style!

One of MANY poses in this GINORMOUS vehicle

Gotta do the husband-wife shot

Tough-guy pose (more like SCARY)

Great Grandma & George...FIRST time in a limo!

This pretty much sums up our night!!!

Grandma with her grandsons

Posing with Papa

Uncle Greg (secretly the coolest one of us all)

YUMMY INDIAN FOOD!
Award for BEST lights: Mom & Dad's house (all inspired by a certain 4yr old)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After all that fun and excitment you don't think things could get any better, but Christmas hasn't even come yet! But even after Christmas our days were full of things like:

Taking SUPER bubbly bubble baths in Grandma's GIANT tub

Reading books with Grandma

Listening to Great Grandma play the piano (it was part of her therapy in recovering from her stroke)

Hot Tubbing!

Naps (what's a vacation without a lot of those)

Popcorn NIGHT...using Grandma's new popper!

Two peas in a pod: The biggest popcorn lovers of the house!

Getting excited about all that popping going on!

"The Mouthful"...says it all.

Then there was torturing Uncle Greg!

And boxing on the Wii!

I didn't get picutres of EVERYTHING (but you wouldn't know by looking at the hundreds I've posted), but we also had some pretty fun game nights and OH SO MUCH yummy food!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A trip home isn't complete without visiting some old friends. Lucky for me two friends that I grew up with were in town visiting their families as well. It was fun to see them and catch up!
