A Trip to Rufener's Hilltop Farm

At the end of October Gabriel's preschool had a field trip to Rufener's Hilltop Farm. It was so fun to go with Gabriel's preschool class - brings a whole new dynamic to a farm trip! There were all sorts of things to explore and activities to do. They had a small petting zoo where they got to pet and feed some of the animals. There was a hayride out to the pumpkin patch where each kid got to pick their own pumpkin. There were old tractors all over the farm for the kids to climb on and drive. There was also a hay-bundle tunnel and a fun slide - that slid you right into a pool of corn! It was a fun day that also allowed us to watch Gabriel interact more with his classmates and teachers!

While waiting for Gabriel to return we did the self-portrait thing

Gabriel was pretty grossed out by the pumpkin "guts"

Finished product: Gabriel wanted the pumpkin to look like it was saying "Ooooooooh"
